What Papergale does
Papergale researches and writes social media posts for your business, or for you if you post as yourself, and delivers them to your Papergale account for you to review. Papergale never posts to your social accounts on its own: a post goes out only when you press Post, or when you confirm a schedule for that post, on an account you connected and can disconnect at any time.
By signing up you confirm that you can agree to these terms, for yourself or for the business you sign up for.
Your first post
While the offer is open, a new account can receive one free post. There is one free post per person and one per business or social account: a second business on the same account does not get one, and neither does a new account for a business that has already had one.
We may pause or end the offer at any time, for example when the day's free posts have all been given. A free post we have already started for you is still delivered. After it, a plan is needed for more posts.
Plans and payment
Presence is $99 a month, Growth $149 and Authority $249, in US dollars, the prices on our home page. Agency is arranged with us directly.
Each plan includes the number of posts it lists for each month. Only delivered posts that pass our checks count against it; drafts that fail our checks, and repairs you ask for, do not. Posts you do not use in a month do not carry over to the next.
Plans are sold through Link, Stripe's merchant-of-record service. Checkout shows the price plus any tax that applies where you are before you pay. Link sends your receipts and invoices. Your card statement shows LINK.COM* followed by our statement descriptor. We never see your card number.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again, and we stop starting new posts until the payment goes through.
Automatic renewal
Your plan renews automatically every month, on the day of the month you first paid, at the price shown when you bought it, plus any tax that applies, and Link charges the card you gave it. It keeps renewing until you cancel.
If a plan's price changes, the new price applies only from a renewal after we have told you about it by email, so you can cancel before it does.
Changing or cancelling your plan
You can cancel online at any time. In Papergale, open Usage & plan and choose Manage billing, which opens Stripe's billing page, and cancel your plan there. You can also cancel or update your subscription at link.com. You do not need to write to us or call.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your plan, and the posts it includes, until the end of the month you have paid for, and nothing more is charged.
Moving to a larger plan takes effect at once, and Stripe charges the difference for the rest of the month. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect from your next renewal.
Refunds
We do not refund part of a month, whether you cancel, move to a smaller plan or stop using Papergale, except where the law requires a refund. If you think you were charged by mistake, write to lucas@papergale.com and we will look into it. Link support may also refund a payment within 60 days in some cases. Stripe applies cooling-off periods where the law requires them.
AI-written posts, and your review
Papergale's posts are written with AI models and checked against their sources before they reach you. A check is not a guarantee: a post can still contain a mistake, or say something you would put differently.
Read each post before you post it, and change or discard anything that is wrong or that you would not say. You decide what goes out under your name, and you are responsible for what you post.
Posts about finance, real estate or health are general education, not advice, and carry a line that says so. Keep that line when you post them.
We aim to help you grow your audience and sell more, but we do not promise any number of followers, customers or sales.
Photos
Photos in your posts come from the web. We screen each one before it is used and keep a record of the page it came from, which we will tell you if you ask. You may replace any photo with your own before you post.
If you believe a photo is yours and should not be used, write to lucas@papergale.com with the post and the photo, and we will take it out.
Acceptable use
When you use Papergale, you agree not to:
- use it for anything unlawful, deceptive, defamatory or hateful, or to harass anyone;
- sign up for a business or a social account you do not own or are not allowed to act for;
- pretend to be another person or business;
- claim more than one free post, for example with other email addresses or businesses;
- interfere with Papergale, probe it for weaknesses, or reach it other than through the pages and tools we provide;
- resell or share your account with people outside your business without our agreement.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why where we can. You can stop using Papergale at any time; cancelling a plan is described above.
Responsibility and liability
Papergale is provided as it is and as it is available. We work to keep it running and check every post before it reaches you, but we do not promise that it will always be available, that it will be free of errors, or that any post will bring a particular result such as followers, customers or sales.
You are responsible for what you post, for the social accounts you connect, and for keeping your sign-in details safe. If someone brings a claim against us because of something you posted or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of answering it, as far as the law allows.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or harm to your reputation. Our total liability to you for all claims about Papergale is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if that is more.
Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud, or takes away a right you have as a consumer under the law of the place where you live.
Governing law
Papergale is operated by Colecy LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. These terms, and any dispute about them or about Papergale, are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law.
Before going to court, write to lucas@papergale.com and give us 30 days to put things right. If we cannot, a dispute is heard by the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the laws of the place where you live that cannot be set aside by agreement, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. A change that affects your plan or its price applies from a renewal after we have told you about it by email.
Questions about these terms go to lucas@papergale.com.
